REPEATER and ECHOLINK INFORMATION:<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

CBARC has two repeaters serving Southern California along with Echolink on the two meter side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2-Meter: 146.850 p\/l 146.2 (-) offset<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

220 mhz: 224.860  p\/l 77.0 (-) offset<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Echolink: w6jbt-r<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

REPEATER NOTES:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any organization or group wishing to use either Crestline Repeaters shown above for any “net” operations, drills, exercises or any other type of  formal or informal usage must<\/strong> have prior written approval of use authorized by the Board of Directors of Citrus Belt Amateur Radio Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EMERGENCY REPEATER USE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After earthquakes or any disaster in our area, please DO NOT<\/strong> use either repeater for one hour after these events. We ask that the repeaters are left open during that time for any emergency traffic ONLY<\/strong>. You may check in, however do not conduct general traffic until repeater has been cleared. A CBARC Board Member will be monitoring and act as traffic control. We appreciate your attention with this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RULES WHILE USING THE REPEATERS;<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following is NOT<\/span> allowed while using either of the CBARC repeaters. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

       * Politics of any kind<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       * Music of any type including singing, or background music<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       * Use of profanity of any kind as our repeaters are family friendly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

       *Transmitting CW (code) such as practice, demonstrations or general personal callsign “ID”.  The only code that is allowed is transmitted by the repeater as it’s “ID” is required by FCC part 97<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       * Dead carriers, continual key-ups. ALL<\/strong> key-ups such as checking for radio\/repeater signal must be followed by the use of your legal callsign as shown in the FCC rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       * “Cross Band Repeat” of any kind <\/p>\n\n\n\n

       * No digital transmissions. These are NOT<\/strong> digital repeaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       * Anything that goes against FCC Part 97<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       * Anyone found to be violating above rules will be banned from using the repeaters and\/or the FCC will be contacted accordingly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE:<\/span> We reserve the right to turn off either repeater at our discretion for any reason without notice or warning. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

WEBSITE, BLOG MODERATORS and NET CONTROL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any person acting as “Moderator” of the clubs website or Tech Net Blog, or acting as “Net Control” for any net performed on the clubs repeaters, must be a member in good standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Citrus Belt Amateur Radio Club is now offering free membership to people who have disabilities which effectively prevent them from participating in amateur radio activities. Such disabilities include blindness, deafness, and limited mobility. The purpose is to allow folks with disabilities to access the resources offered by a service club such as CBARC, whether it be help studying for taking an exam for a license, help obtaining appropriate radio equipment, help installing a station, antenna, or some device or program someone might need in order to operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Citrus Belt Amateur Radio Club Board of Directors will evaluate each request for membership and assistance as requested in order to provide such assistance in an appropriate and timely manner. All people interested in amateur radio are welcome at all club activities regardless of age, race, gender, ability, or any other factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A written letter must be submitted to the Board with the explanation of the persons disability, needs etc. Once the Board reviews the letter, they will contact the applicant for either more information or approval\/disapproval of membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
