It is also suggested that each participating station attempt to work the 80 meter band for those \u201cclose in\u201d stations.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please have patience when working the event as band conditions, QRM, and location may affect the stations ability to communicate with everyone<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><strong>NOTE: Please have extra patience when you try to contact all the official Route 66 stations as bands may not be cooperative. Please be advised that if there is a national or local emergency that would cause the suggested bands be used for emergency traffic, we will honor that request and the stations may have to move to other frequencies.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; We appreciate your participation in our event, and hope you will enjoy it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">PARTICIPATING STATIONS OPERATOR SCHEDULE:<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Each participating station do their own time scheduling of operators, since this is a weeklong event not all participating stations will have the personnel to operate all the event hours. Again we ask for your patience in contacting all the stations, if you don\u2019t hear them on for a period of time, check back at a later time. Again since this is a weeklong event, all participating stations are doing the best they can to insure that you are able work them all during the timeframe of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Route 66 Mobile and Repeaters:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Any amateurs operating while actually driving along Route 66 during the special event period are encouraged to take part in the event, by using the designation \u201cmobile 66\u201d for phone or \/m66 for CW after their callsign. All other amateurs are welcome to contact these mobile operators.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <strong>NOTE: ONLY W6S, W6T, W6V and W6W ARE ONLY THE OFFICIAL EVENT ROVER\/MOBILE STATIONS AND WILL BE ENDORSED ON THE EVENT CERTIFICATE.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-89f29838b695002d39050a3e36180e92\"><strong>W6Y is a &#8220;Bonus or Wildcard Station&#8221; it is shown on certificate but is NOT needed for a &#8220;Clean Sweep&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Some of the participating stations will also be operating this event by using their local VHF\/UHF repeaters.
