RADIO NETS

updated 10/15/2026

As you may have heard, we have a few nets on our two meter repeater and the 220 repeater, below is information about each of them. Each net is interactive and welcomes visitors. For those that are new to ham radio, this is a good place to get started talking on the radio.

CBARC’S  TWO METER REPEATER: 146.850 (-) 146.2 PL.

Each Weekday 7:00 to 8:00 am (+/-)

HELD ON: 2 METER REPEATER and ECHOLINK (ECHOLINK w6jbt-r)

The Tech Net is designed to talk about ham radio in general by bringing up a different subject each day. From common questions to technical issues all avenues of ham radio are covered. Visitors are welcome to join in and ask questions and provide answers too.  From radios to antennas for all modes are covered and explored. This is a great way to increase your ham radio knowledge and explore new areas of the hobby.

TECH NET BLOG

Accompanying the daily 7:00 am Tech Net, is a blog, CBARCtechnet.com. It captures the day’s discussions in an easy-to-read web page. The blog contains questions asked, answers given and hotlinks to any websites that are included in those discussions.
The blog contains daily announcements regarding testing sessions, upcoming breakfast meetings, contests, club meetings and general local and regional events. In addition, it is easily searchable via the search box displayed. The daily solar report is also included. There is downloadable information and tips-and-tricks for both newbie and seasoned hams. Questions, comments and new materials are always welcome. We continue to look for new ‘authors’ willing to contribute to the blog.
